Early Years Music classes (PRE-K - K)

Early Years is a beginning music program designed for children ages 4–6. These classes are play based and explore the fundamentals of music — ear training, healthy singing, beat-keeping, literacy, focus, intonation, and improvisation. In an active learning environment, students engage their motor, oral, aural, and cognitive skills. Class instruction encourages children to build confidence, develop social and emotional learning, and explore their creativity.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE AND LOCATIONS

Winter and Spring Sessions Schedule (January 22 - March 30, 2024; April 8 - June 15, 2024*). Parents select their preferred site upon registration.

Monday: 4:00–4:45 p.m. La Mesa/Grossmont
Wednesday: 4:00–4:45 p.m. Rancho Bernardo/Poway
Thursday: 4:15–5:00 p.m. Mission Hills
Saturday: 10:00–10:45 a.m. Carmel Valley/Sorrento Valley

*Exact dates vary by site

Rate:

$208- $260 per session, depending on the number of classes per site. Email sdcc@sdcchoir.org to join mid-session for a pro-rated rate.
