Ronel Wishnuff received her Bachelors of Music degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg with a distinction in piano and her Masters degree in Piano Performance at San Diego State University.

Ms. Wishnuff taught for 15 years at the Blairgowrie Music Centre in Johannesburg. She is also an enthusiastic singer and has been a member of the South African Broadcasting Symphonic Choir, the prestigious chamber choir The Chanticleers Singers' under the direction of one of South Africa's icons, Richard Cock, and Music Director for the Community Congregational Church in Pacific Beach. She also taught piano at the California Institute of Music, at the Oceanside Academy of the Performing Arts

In addition to her work for SDCC, Ms. Wishnuff is an organist at La Jolla Methodist Church and teaches piano at her home studio in La Costa, Carlsbad.
