GOOD MORNING STARSHINE, THE EARTH SAYS HELLO!

I started out this day with this phrase in my head and a chipper attitude despite my lack of sleep, because I knew that today was the last day of this strenuous tour. No more rehearsals? No more concert dresses? Although the tour was so much fun, I am really looking forward to going home.

I’m sitting at Gate D5 at Sea-Tac airport and trying to think of what I did today, in order to make this entry more interesting. But today has been a travel day, which means that nothing really worth noting happened. Basically all that we did was to take the bus from the hotel in Vancouver to here. And to tell the absolute truth, I slept through most of the ride here. Just in case you might be interested, I also spilled orange soda on myself.

It’s 3:54 right now, and our plane leaves sometime around 5 o’clock. We will probably be sitting here at the gate for the next hour, doing nothing but wait to finally go home.

RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED BY A VERY SLEEPY Mari Jacobson, concert choir
