Today we arrived in Glacier Bay at around 7:00. After looking and taking many pictures of the beautiful scenery, we went to the Lido Restaurant to have a quick breakfast before our first rehearsal at 9:30. After learning the German words to “To Music” which we will be performing, we spent a few hours looking at the glaciers all around us. Again we stopped by the Lido to have lunch. After bringing a plate of cookies down to our room, we all watched T.V. and slept.

At 5:00 we had another rehearsal, so we headed to the Queen’s Lounge. After a review of our songs, we headed back to our cabin to get ready for the formal dinner night in the Vista Dining Room. Once dressed in our clothes, we walked to the dining room. After we were seated at our table, we were able to order from the delicious array of food that the ship had to offer. Because tonight was formal night, the dining room had a parade of flaming Baked Alaskas, a special desert made of ice cream and meringue. When we finished eating, we went to a magic show, where a gold medalist magician performed many mind baffling tricks.

After a wonderful show, we went back to our cabin for a good nights sleep.

Respectfully submitted, Stephanie Wermuth, Jessica Maisonneuve, and Rhiannon Bucher
