Sydney The hostel is located on the peninsula by the bay, and the kids were able to go down and see the water after breakfast. They didn't have much time, as we had a full day planned. Getting through any big city can be fraught with traffic, so we plan accordingly. Today we didn't need to time for our commute (traffic was light for some reason) so we were able to take a short stop at the beach. It was a gorgeous day, and the all of us basked in the beauty and sun. Our first scheduled stop was the Sydney Children's Hospital where we took the Starlight Stage and sang for children who had were in treatment. The attendance was light until we started singing. Seeing us on their closed circuit TV system wasn't enough! They came to see us in person - first one, then another, until it was standing room only. After such a performance we needed sustenance, so we headed to the Hard Rock Café. The choir has eaten in several now; this one had the best beef. Our afternoon was spent around the Opera House, the evening in a joint concert with St. Luke's church choir and families. Another wonderful day in Sydney. Oh did I say, the weather is beautiful.
