This entry was creative but rambling and has been edited for space and speech considerations. Care has been taken not to change the tone or spelling of the submitted manuscript. - ST ed.

This is more difficult than I thought it would be when asked to document part of our journey. Frustration.....

Eight o'clock AM (AHHHHHH!) (uncontrollable laughing break from writing...) anyway, I awoke to the harsh BEEP BEEP ... of the alarm clock (too bad you can't hear my sound effects!)! I took a quick shower while flooding the bathroom and with the shower curtain attacking me from all angles. man I now know why I have troubles in English class. So anyway you get the picture. I then travel to the cafeteria to peruse (sic) the variegated fried objects; have you tried the onion loaf/HP sauce? Anyway, this is how the day began... imagine the implications.

(ed note - we stayed at Bangor University. Each of us had a single dorm room, with a small bath attached. The shower was enclosed by a cloth shower curtain and was only 30" across. We ate in the cafeteria and came to realize that fired food was a big part of the national diet.) The bus was suppose to leave at 9:30 but it was after 10 when we departed.)

Our first stop was Conwy Castle (yes I spelled it korrectly) where we got to see where ancient people lived (when not farming) and that's some war lasted 100 years.

After intelligently finding our way out of the castle (not an easy task - you go out the way you came in) we went shopping. Thumbs up for thrift stores. We also went to lunch. Funny story really.... we sat w/2 random strangers and then moved. ha ha ha. We had the fish special - coffee or tea, salad, peas, salt, fried fish, ketchup, chips & utensils and napkin all for £4. (That's pounds not $$$.)

We saw the smallest house in the world, but probably on in the UK... Mark is an awesome bus driver, our bus in 13'4" and he got it through a 12' tunnel.

[Sorry, to be continued .....]
