(Remember, we had just gone home with our homestays...) Waking up we reported to our meeting place and gathered at an elementary school to sing. Our group collectively agreed that this was the best concert yet because Polly was in her element. She connected with the first graders and made us all laugh. The school was grateful and we were having a blast watching the little people squirm and giggle at our festive words (they loved Nick's solo).

At the Butchart Gardens, we bonded with the flowers and savored the delicious tea cakes and sandwiches. We felt quite civilized on this savage tour with crumpets and tarts, scoff, scoff, scoff. It was great.

Written by Katie and Sara (part of Monica Barson's chaperone group).
