Kelsey Young

Kelsey Young is SDCC's Administrative Assistant. Ms. Young recently graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University where she earned a B.A. in Music with a focus in Voice and a minor in Theater. While at the University, she was heavily involved in the music department, sung with the Point Loma Singers and the upper division chamber choir and served as soprano section leader. She traveled with The Point Loma Singers, as well as other Point Loma singing groups, throughout California, England and Scotland.

Ms. Young was also heavily involved in the theater department, playing leading roles in such musicals as Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Mikado” and plays such as Eugene O’Neill’s “Thirst” and George Bernard Shaw’s “How He Lied to Her Husband.”

Prior to joining SDCC, Ms. Young spent the last year living in Vienna, Austria with her husband studying German and absorbing the rich culture and vast musical history of Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe.
