2003 - Pacific International Children's Choir Festival

For the 2003 Summer Tour, the San Diego Children's Choir attended the Pacific International Children's Choir Festival (PICCFEST 2003) in Eugene, Oregon. The Festival is designed to provide children's choirs an experience of authentic choral music repertoire and dance from countries around the Pacific Rim. There we met and performed with nine other children's choirs who applied and were accepted.

The guest conductor was Sandra Snow, an assistant professor of choral music education and conducting at the University of Michigan School of Music.

June 26 Thu.	Eugene	Rehearsal during the day, Sharing our Songs Concert II in the evening at Central Lutheran Church, Social afterward
June 27 Fri.	Eugene	Rehearsal during the day, Coach to Oregon Bach Festival early evening, Participate in Opening Ceremonies
June 28 Sat.	Eugene	Rehearsal during the day, Sharing our Songs Concert III in the evening at First Christian Church, Social afterward
June 29 Sun.	Eugene	The 10 Choirs participate in church services at different churches, recreation in the afternoon, ice cream social in the evening.
June 30 Mon.	Eugene	Final rehearsal in the morning, Gala Concert at the Hult Center in the evening. Celebration at Roaring Rapids Pizza Company.
July 1 Tue.	Portland	Coach to Silver Falls State Park, Picnic and then continue to Portland. Dinner in the evening at a restaurant.
July 2 Wed.	Portland and San Diego	Excusion to Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, Lunch, then Return to San Diego
