2001 - Pacific Rim
During Summer 2001, the San Diego Children's Choir attended the Pacific Rim Festival in Hawaii. The Festival was designed to provide children's choirs an experience of authentic choral music repertoire and dance from countries around the Pacific Rim. There the Choir met and performed with other children's choirs who applied and were accepted.
The Choral Clinician was Henry Leck, Founder and Artistic Director of the Indianapolis Children's Choir (ICC). Our Choir was modeled after the ICC and we have been in constant contact with them, especially for ideas on designing our web site and following our's choir tours through the web updates.
