1999 - Pacific Northwest

The 1999 Summer Tour brought our choristers to the Pacific Northwest, including Seattle, Vancouver, and Victoria, where they visited the Chittenden Locks, the Space Needle, Elliott Bay, Butchart Gardens, and the Royal British Columbia Museum, and took in a dinner show on Blake Island.

This trip was highlighted by many interactions with other children's choir. The choristers performed a joint concert with the Seattle Children's Chorus and the Alaska Youth Choir at Puget Sound Christian College. They were then hosted and performed in concert with the Youth Choir 61 in Victoria. Finally, they met and performed with the Coastal Sound Music Academy Choirs, the White Rock Children's Choirs and again the Alaska Youth Choir in Coquitlan.

During this tour, we began our successful attempt at updating our web site with daily pictures and journals so that parents at home could "tour" along with their choristers.
